Michael A. Hedge September 17, 1955 – July 5, 2026

Michael A. Hedge, age 70, died Sunday, July 5, 2026, at UMASS Memorial Hospital, University Campus, Worcester.

Michael was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and was the son of the late Joseph and Marcia (Morcall) Hedge.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked for BJs as a Warehouse Worker for many years.  After his retirement, he ran his own landscaping business.

Michael enjoyed playing the lottery and was known as a very lucky man. He also enjoyed golfing, landscaping, tending to his bird feeders and watching the birds come, helping others, and cheering for the New England Patriots. Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially his granddaughters.

Michael is survived by his companion of 36 years, Diane M. Jones of Webster; by two daughters, Brooke Hedge and her companion, Antonio DeResta of Webster, MA, Rebecca Lewis and her companion, Zachary Mailloux of Florida; by his siblings, Mary Lou Hedge of Arizona, Ginger Hedge of Arizona, Ann Hedge of Arizona, Jimbo Hedge of Worcester, Michele Hedge of Worcester and Maureen Ward of Oxford; three granddaughters, Izabella Bourget, Sophia Mailloux and Haizley Mailloux; five nieces, one nephew and 14 great nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Hedge.
