Oxford – Michael P. Whitney, 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at the Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center;

He is survived by his wife Diana L. Vogel, with whom he has shared over twenty-five years of marriage; he also leaves two brothers.

Michael was born in Queens, New York on April 6, 1959, son of the late Paul and Marilyn (Leto) Whitney.  Mike was a music enthusiast; he played bass guitar for many years; he was also very involved with graphic arts and developed the curriculum for peer support workers.

Michael's family kindly requests that memorial contributions be sent to a charity of one's choice.
