Obituary

Mildred E. Adam, 97, of Auburn, formally of Northbridge, died on Thursday, March 2, 2017 after a short illness.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Macuga and her husband of 63 years, Fernand Adam.  She leaves three children: Millie Fontaine and husband Robert of Auburn, Anne Adam of Worcester and David Adam and wife Terri of Douglas.  She was dearly loved by her 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was born on October 5, 1919, and grew up in South Grafton where she graduated from Grafton High School.  She worked for many years as a postal carrier and clerk in the North Grafton Post Office.  She enjoyed time with her family, sewing, cooking and playing cards and word games.

All services are private, omit  flowers and donations may be made in her memory to the VNA Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.
