Norma M. (Sargent) Moody, age 80 of Webster, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at home.

She leaves her husband of 13 years, Thomas L. Moody of Webster; three sons, Leo Caney and his wife Lisa of Nashua, NH, Brian Caney and his wife Sheila of Dudley; Todd Sargent and his wife Julie of Putnam; one brother, Roger Sargent of Maine; three sisters, Dixie Dumont and her husband Paul of New Hampshire, Elaine Smith of New Hampshire and Cynthia Tryba of Webster; eight grandchildren, Jessie, Joshua, Michael, Jayden, Cassie, James, Doug and Crystal; 3 great-grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Marion Sargent and Bonnie Sargent; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Ronnie Sargent, Merrill Sargent, Daryl Sargent, and by a sister, Nerna Tobey.

Norma was born in Orleans, VT, daughter of the late Marvin and Ruth (Metcalf) Sargent and lived in Webster for the past 26 years.  Norma worked at B & W Footwear and Sanitary Dash.  She was also a housekeeper at various homes on Webster Lake.  She enjoyed fishing, flower gardening, cats, shopping, NASCAR and visiting relatives in New Hampshire.  She loved animals and taking care of many homeless animals.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a prayer service at 12:45 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Central Massachusetts, 191 Pakachoag Street, Auburn, MA 01501.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
