Pedro A. Ortiz, age 64, of Worcester, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014.

He leaves his son, Pedro A. Hebert and another son Pedro; his daughters, Nola Parmentier of Putnam, Naomi Hrzyan of Putnam, Amy Melendez of Putnam, Laura Hebert of Virginia and Erica Hebert of Oxford; three brothers, Miano Ortiz, Domingo Ortiz and Jose Ortiz, both of Worcester; a sister, Elana Ortizin Puerto Rico; 15 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Benita Hebert, his longtime companion, Esther B. Hebert and by four siblings.

He was born in Sabanagrande, Puerto Rico, son of the late Amabo and Petra (Miranda) Ortiz.  He was a machine operator at Sem Tec for several years.
