Peter L. Gervais United States Air Force Veteran 1952 – 2026

Peter L. Gervais, age 73, husband of the late Donna (Salvatore) Gervais, died on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the UMASS Campus of Hubbard Hospital, Webster.

Peter was born in Worcester, MA, son of the late Robert H. and Barbara (Russell) Gervais and lived in Webster most of his life.  He was a longtime employee of Cranston Print Works in Webster.

Peter was a proud United States Air Force Veteran, having served in Vietnam.  He enjoyed playing chess with his longtime friend, Jan Kopas.  He also enjoyed fishing and playing computer games.

Peter leaves his brothers, Ronald Gervais and his wife Donna of Douglas, MA, Robert Gervais of Maine, and Paul Gervais of Worcester; a sister, Beverly Poulin and her husband Dennis of New Hampshire.  Several nieces, nephews and friends.  Peter was predeceased by his wife Donna (Salvatore) Gervais on April 19, 2023, and by a sister, Theresa Audet.

There are no calling hours and services will be private.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council, 4 Veterans Way, Webster, MA 01570.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster, has been entrusted with Peter's arrangements.  A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
