Griswold, CT/Dudley- Peter J. Kozlowski I, age 37, died on Thursday, July 7, 2016, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Griswold, CT. Riding his motorcycle was one of his great passions in life.
He leaves his wife, Crystal L. (Bryant) Kozlowski of Griswold; two sons, Peter J. Kozlowski II of Griswold and Nathan White of Plainfield; his mother Anne (Scioscia) Kozlowski of Webster, a sister, Donna Keith of Plainfield, his in-laws, Robert Beavan and Sandra (Ziemski) Beavan of Oxford, William and Heidi (Benson) Bryant of Mountain City, Tennessee. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and cherished friendships that were like family to Peter.
He was born in Southbridge and he was predeceased by his father Peter J. Kozlowski in 1999. He lived in Griswold for the past ten years. He was a purchasing coordinator for Capco Steel.
Peter was a free spirit who always spoke his mind and gave his opinion even if not invited. Music was a piece of his soul, playing in many bands since his youth. He was a genuine person, who gave his all to those he loved. He was most proud of his family and the life they created together. Anyone who really knew him, knew his rough exterior was not who he was inside.
The calling hours will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in the funeral home, 4-7 PM. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at the PACC, Harris St., Webster, MA Friday, July 15, 2016 at 7 PM..
