Woodstock, CT- Phyllis R. (Racine) Kuper age 90 of Woodstock died Fri., March 12, 2015.  She was the wife for 70 years of the late Arthur Kuper who died Nov. 27, 2013.  She leaves 2 sons, Daniel R. and his wife Margaret Kuper of Woodstock and Kenneth A. Kuper of Woodstock, 2 daughters, Lorraine and her husband William Daniels of Webster and Karen Martin of Worcester.  She also leaves 4 grandchildren: Jason Kuper , Sarah Gilbert, Shelly Matte and Richard Kuper also a grandson predeceased her, Aaron A. Kuper.  She also leaves 4 great grandchildren and a great grandson. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Russell and Lloyd Racine and 2 sisters, Priscilla Olds and Elizabeth Saltonstall.  She was born in Putnam, CT on St. Patricks Day, which she was very proud of.  She was the daughter of the late, Augustus and Lillian (Milligan) Racine and lived in Woodstock all her life.  She was a member of the Woodstock Historical Society and Ladies Aide of  the North Woodstock Congregational Church.  She was the go to person, when you needed a volunteer for any project.  She loved animals especially horses.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening and being outdoors.  There are no calling hours.  Omit flowers and donations may be made in her memory with your local Humane Society or Dog Pound.  All Services are private.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with the arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you can post a memory or condolence.
