Rebecca Lynn (Grenier) Kostacopoulos, age 53, beloved wife of Peter M. Kostacopoulos, of Thompson, Connecticut, died on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at UMASS Memorial Health Care - University Campus, Worcester, Massachusetts.

Rebecca was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, daughter of the late Roland Jr. and Jane (Brown) Grenier.

Rebecca was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Matulaitis Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Putnam, Connecticut for several years.  Rebecca enjoyed flower gardening, spending time in the family greenhouse, knitting, and all things related to frogs.  She had a large collection of frogs including ceramic frogs, windchimes, cookie jars and more.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Peter Kostacopoulos of Thompson, Connecticut; and by her three sons, Nicolas P. Kostacopoulos, Corey M. Kostacopoulos, both of Thompson, Connecticut and Christopher Berthiaume of Burrillville, Rhode Island

There are no calling hours.  A Celebration of Rebecca's life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to A.A. Worcester Area Intergroup, 100 Grove Street, #314, Worcester, MA 01605.
