Southbridge- Rene R. Morin, age 90, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation – Oakwood, Webster.

He leaves his wife, Fabienne E. (Bombadier) Morin of Southbridge; a son, Rene J. Morin; a granddaughter, Gina Osimo and two great-grandchildren.

He was born in Southbridge, son of the late Arthur and Alphonsin (Dion) Morin and lived in Southbridge all his life.  He was a World War II U.S. Army and Korean War, U.S. Air Force Veteran.  He achieved the rank of TSgt and received 7 Air Medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross.  He was an auto mechanic and worked at Center Service in Southbridge specializing in Ford and Lincoln models.
