Richard D. Davis, age 81, of Dudley, died Friday, May 17, 2013 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.

He was the husband of the late Jean (Dupuis) Davis who died in 2006.  He leaves six cousins, Beverly Reilly of Meriden, CT, William VanKeurin of Tequesta, FL, Joan Cormey of Toms River, NJ, Thomas and Gail Cullinane of Worcester, Sandra Byrnham of Leicester and Virginia Grenier of North Brookfield.

Richard was born in Worcester, son of the late Ralph and Madelyn (Poland) Davis and lived here all his life.  He worked for many years at Ethan Allen Furniture Company.  He was an avid Red Sox fan and was very patriotic.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at 10:00 am in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, with Pastor Grayham officiating.  Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Oxford.  Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, May 20, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com .
