Richard B. Dugan, age 72, of Dudley, died Monday, August 19, 2013 at Webster Manor.

He leaves his wife of 52 years, Eleanor R. (Mayotte) Dugan of Dudley; a son, Matthew R. Dugan of Dudley; three daughters, Julia Boucher and her husband Tom of King George, VA, Anne Kenny and her husband Ray of Southbridge, Kathleen Tardy and her husband Steve of Carver, MA; a sister, Kathleen Gatzke and her husband Bob of Webster; six grandchildren.

He was born in Webster, son of the late Bernard and Catherine (Fennessey) Dugan and lived in Dudley for 50 years.  He was a manufacturing engineer.  He enjoyed fishing, guns and crossword puzzles.

The funeral will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 10:00 am in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, Dudley.  Please go directly to the church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.  The family requests the flowers be omitted and that donations be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research, 60 Walnut Street, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481.
