Dudley – Richard A. Gardecki, 73, passed away at home on Sunday February 28, 2021 while surrounded by his loving family.

Richard was born in Worcester, MA on February 14, 1948, son of Thomas and Augusta (Edison) Gardecki; he worked for Hardline Heat Treat for many years prior to his retirement.  Richard was an avid collector of coins and baseball cards; he greatly enjoyed going to various flea markets and spending time with those he loved.

Richard will be deeply missed by his wife Thomasina (Dalterio) Gardecki; his son Thomas Gardecki of Webster; his daughter Deana (Gardecki) Mello of Dudley; his grandchildren Ashley, Danielle, Vincent, and John; his great-grandson Jackson; he also leaves many relatives and beloved friends.

A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held on Saturday March 13, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.  Please be sure to follow current health and social distancing guidelines.
