West Brookfield - Richard H. Ouellette, age 71, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at the Bay State Medical Center Hospital in Springfield.

He leaves his wife of 37 years, Carol E. (Propeck) Ouellette of West Brookfield; a daughter, Michelle Egizi of Williamstown, NJ; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Homer and Rita (Delile) Ouellette.  He was a Chef and apprenticed with European Chefs.  He was formerly emmployed as a Chef at the Driftwood and the Publick House.  He also operated Richie's Deli in Brookfield.

There are no calling hours.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012, beginning at 4:30 pm at the Ouellette Family Home, 65 Lake Shore Drive Extension, West Brookfield, MA.  The family requests that flowers be omitted and that donations in Richard's memory be made to Camp Putnam, Inc., 141 Rutherford Road, New Braintree, MA 01531.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com .
