Robert M. Aldrich, age 76, of Webster, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at UMASS Memorial Health Care – Belmont Street Campus.

He leaves his wife of 52 years, Mary F. (DeNardis) Aldrich of Webster; three sons, Ronald Aldrich of Webster, Peter Aldrich of Webster, Brian Aldrich and his wife Rocio of Medfield; one daughter, Paula M. Barbas of Charlton; two brothers, Leander Aldrich and his wife Theresa of Uxbridge, Frederick Aldrich of Dennis; grandchildren, Julianne and Christopher Barbas of Charlton, Isaac, Ava, and Brynn Aldrich of Medfield, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was born in Uxbridge, son of the late Frederick and Mary (Baca) Aldrich and lived in Linwood, MA before moving to Dudley in 1961.  He was a retired machine operator, having worked at Wyman Gordon, retiring in 2002 after 32 years.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of Saint Louis Parish in Webster.

The funeral will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013, with a Mass at 10:00 am in Good Shephard Church, 121 Linwood Street, Uxbridge. (Please go directly to the church).  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley.  Calling hours at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster will be Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Louis Endowment Fund, Lake Street, Webster, MA 01570.
