Robert C. Sebetes 1935 – 2026

Robert C. Sebetes, age 91, beloved husband of Linda (Vigliatura) Sebetes, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at UMASS Memorial Health Care – University Campus, Worcester.

Rob was born in Boston, son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Radcliffe) Sebetes and lived in Cumberland, RI before relocating to Southbridge, MA.  He was a retired percussion instructor and previously owned and operated the R.S. Percussion School in Southbridge, MA.    In addition, Rob was a very proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Rob and Linda were married in 1992 and shared 33 happy years of marriage.  In addition to his wife,  Rob is survived by two sons, Tom Gavin and his wife Debbie of Tennessee and David Sebetes of Rhode Island; six daughters, Lori Bidgood of Melrose, Wendy Richmond and her husband Mark of Worcester, Cynthia Sebetes of Rhode Island, Kim Ghods of Worcester, Laura Sebetes of Rhode Island and Lori Boyce of Rochdale; a brother, Richard Sebetes of Attleboro, MA; a sister, Barbara Jacome and her husband Paul of Norton, MA;  grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Alyssa, Philip, Joshua, Jonathan, Brandon, Sarah, Robbie, Sean, and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Madison, Mason, Andrew, Lillie, Josiah, Natalie, Madelyn, Ayden and Ethan.  He was predeceased by a grandson, T.J.

Rob loved nothing more than his family and Jesus.

A Memorial Service for Rob will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am in High Pointe Church, 1208 Thompson Road, Thompson, CT.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with Rob's arrangements.  A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com
