Rodney R. Maranda, age 78 of Webster, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Webster Manor.

He leaves his wife, Alice R. (Murrey) Maranda of Webster; a son, Richard J. Maranda of Webster; two brothers, Gordon of Cabot, Arkansas and Al of Brooklyn, CT; two grandchildren, Elyse and Kyle.  He was predeceased by a brother, Joe and two sisters, Carol and Frances.

He was born in Sutton, son of the late Joseph and Aldea Maranda and lived in Sutton before moving to Webser in 2009.  He was a retired supervisor having worked several years at MA Container in Marlborough.  He was an Air National Guard veteran.  He enjoyed yard work and being outdoors.
