Ryan D. Barrette

Ryan D. Barrette, age 42, of Putnam, Connecticut, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Day Kimball Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Ryan was born on December 14, 1983 in Worcester, Massachusetts and he was the son of Daniel Barrette and Robin (Robillard) Brassard. He worked for many years as a painter in the auto body industry.

Ryan enjoyed fishing, camping, the beach, nature and being outside. He most enjoyed spending time with his son Nathan and also being with his family and his friends.

Ryan is survived by his father, Daniel Barrette of Webster; his mother, Robin (Robillard) Brassard and her companion, Paul Bravo of Putnam; his son, Nathan Barrette of Putnam; his brother, Devin Barrette and his companion Sarah Bembenek of Putnam; by his cousin and best friend, Jeremy Gould; and by his Godparents, Christine and George Gould. He also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins, his loyal and constant companion, his dog Nova.

There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with Ryan's arrangements.
