Scott Allen Warner 1983 - 2026

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Scott Allen Warner, who departed this world on March 30, 2026, at the age of 42.

Scott was born on December 10, 1983, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, son of Sandra (Cramer) Lapensee. He left us at his home, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.

Scott's life was a tapestry woven with love, service, and an unwavering commitment to family and community. He was a devoted father, a dedicated professional, and a loyal friend to many.

Surviving him are his beloved twin daughters, Adrianne and Paige Warner of Dudley, who were the light of his life and his greatest source of pride. He is also survived by his mother, Sandra Lapensee, her husband, Douglas of Auburn, and his brother, Michael Warner, of Dudley. Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Petrello, who passed in 2020.

A proud veteran, Scott served honorably in the United States Army National Guard, demonstrating his love for the country and a deep sense of duty.

In his professional life, Scott was a valued member of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Town of Clinton, where his colleagues respected him not only for his expertise but also for his commitment to organizing Veteran's Day events, which honored those who served. Scott's passions extended beyond his professional and military life.  Scott also served as the union steward for The National Association of Government Employees (NAGE) Local R1-168.

He found immense joy in spending time with Adrianne and Paige, creating a treasure trove of memories through movie nights, chess games, and their mutual love for the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. Scott's enthusiasm for golf, hiking, and the great outdoors was infectious, and those who joined him in these pursuits were often left with a lasting sense of camaraderie and joy. In his youth, Scott's athletic spirit shone brightly as he played football and little league. These experiences instilled in him a lifelong love for sports and teamwork, values he later shared with his daughters and community.

Scott's legacy is one of love, resilience, and service. He touched the lives of so many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering support. His departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his memory will forever guide and inspire us.

In celebration of Scott's life, family and friends are invited to greet his family on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster, MA.  A prayer service will begin at 12:45 pm.
