Plainfield, CT - Shirley M. Piezzo died Sunday afternoon of natural causes. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Piezzo on December 3, 2009.

Shirley was born May 3, 1930 in Rumford, Maine the daughter of the late Albert and Aileen (Jones) Thibeault. She leaves her son Gary Parker, daughter Lori Gillardi and son and best friend Michael Piezzo all of Plainfield, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Sheila Babbitt.

Shirley also leaves behind a special grandson Anthony Gillardi, Kim Aiken, of Manchester, who has been like a daughter to her, and a special Goddaughter Tricia Laframboise of Canterbury. She was blessed with many wonderful friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and the burial is private. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
