Sigmund A. Borowski, age 84 of Webster, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.

He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa (Liziewski) Borowski on November 14, 2012.  He leaves a son, John Borowski and his wife Carol of Webster; four grandchildren, Megan, Alyssa, Nicholas and Margaret; a sister, Barbara Jarzabski of Dudley.

He was born in Webster, son of the late Zygmund and Theresa (Kluza) Borowski and lived in Webster most of his life.  He was retired from Worcester Wire, where he worked as a machinist for many years.  He was a member of Saint Mary's Church and Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester while living in Auburn.  He loved gardening, fishing, boating and water skiing.

There are no calling hours.  A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 10:00 am in Saint Louis Church, Lake Street, Webster.  Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.  The family requests that flowers be omitted and that donations be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
