Fabyan - Stella M. (Lakota) Note, age 80 of 572 Fabyan Road, died Friday, January 4, 2008 at home.

Her husband, George C. Note died in 1978. She leaves a son, Costa J. Note of Norfolk, MA; two daughters, Sandra Roy of Thompson and Joanne Baker of Southbridge; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, George J. Note in 2004.

Born in Chicopee, Stella was the daughter of the late Jozef and Amiela (Haruisiah) Lakota and lived in Fabyan most of her life. She retired from Superior Bakery in North Grosvenordale. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.

Funeral services for Stella will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at 10:00 am in Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, January 7, 2008, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
