Spencer- Stephen H. Brown age 58 died Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his home.  He was the husband of Rene (Dumont) Brown of Charlton, MA.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Melanie Brown of Salem, MA.  He leaves a step-son, Michael McEleney of Worcester, a step-daughter, Jena McEleney of Spencer.  Stephen also leaves a sister Rev. Janet Brown Matthews of Gig Harbor, Washington and his mother June Claire (Adams) Macindoe of SC.  He was born in Rumford, Maine son of June Brown Macindoe and the late Kenneth P. Brown.  He grew up in Holden, MA and was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School, a graduate of the Univ. Of MA with a degree in engineering, and took post grad at WPI.  He was a member of the Free Masons.  One of his great joys was cooking.  A Celebration of life will be held June 13, 2018 at 5 pm at the Wong Dynasty Restaurant in Holden.  Donations may be made in his memory to the Fox Island United Church of Christ, PO Box 475 Fox Island, Washington, 98333 where his sister is the pastor.
