Charlton- Terry A. Hartwell, age 81, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Webster, Manor, Webster.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Parslow, daughter, Kathy Parslow of Worcester and brother, Ken Hartwell.  She leaves two sons, Tommy Parslow of Indiana, Daniel Parslow of Washington; four daughters; Margaret Parslow of Lucas, Texas, Mary Van Wijnen of Worcester, Sheila Kelly of Washington and Lisa Brejtfus of Worcester; a brother, John Hartwell; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Kelly) Hartwell and lived in Charlton for the past 30 plus years.  She was a social worker for most of her life and last worked at the Friendly House Homeless Shelter in Worcester.  She dedicated her life to helping the less fortunate at homeless shelters and homes for battered women and the elderly.  She was a volunteer hospice worker in Charlton and mostly recently she was a member of the Wisdom Seekers where she formed many loving friendships.  Additionally, she was an avid reader.

There are no calling hours and all services and burial are private.  Donations may be made in her memory to the Friendly House Homeless Shelter, 36 Wall St. Worcester, MA 01604  in Worcester.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements.  A guest book is available to www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
