Webster – Thomas M. Szynal, 87, passed away on Friday January 6, 2023 while at the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

Tom was born in Webster, MA on October 26, 1935, son of the late Thomas J. and Mary (Minarik) Szynal; he served honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.  Tom work as a supervisor for Verizon for many years prior to his retirement; he was active in the Marine Corps League, and was proud of his U.S. Stamp collection.

Tom is survived by his wife Joan A. (Dykas) Szynal; three daughters: Paula Szynal of Belchertown who passed away in 2003, Susan Szynal of Webster, and Maria Santerre and her husband Mark of North Grosvenordale, CT, he also had a son who predeceased him, Thomas Jude Szynal; his granddaughters Amanda and Lauren; he also leaves many relatives and friends.
