Southbridge- Valerias Casimir Hmay age 95 died Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Center.  He was the husband of the late Rita I. (Julian) Hmay who died in 2008.

He leaves a daughter, Karen Gaudette of Southbridge and a brother Edward Hmay of Florida.

He was born in Southbridge son of the late Stanley and Anna (Skowron) Hmay and lived in Southbridge all his life.  He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII.  He worked for many years as a tool and die maker at Warner Lambert.  Casimir enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and telling stories.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 with a Mass at 1 pm in Notre Dame Church, St. John Paul II Parish, 446 Main St.,, Southbridge with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge with military honors.  Calling hours at Sansoucy Funeral Home, Marcy St., Southbridge, Ma will be before funeral mass 11: 00 am- 12: 30 pm Aug. 22, 2017.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster has been entrusted with his arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
