Southbridge- Vera (Richards) Blease, age 100, passed on Monday, March 4 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family.  She leaves her sons; John Blease and his wife Susan of Natick, Richard Blease and his wife Patricia of Lamoine ME; her daughters Mary Thornton and her husband Phil of Center Ossipee, NH, Sharon Fino of Southbridge, and Kathleen McPherson Plainville MA; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.  Vera was predeceased by her loving husband in 1982; Ralph Blease; her brothers George Richards of Framingham, Ward Richards of VA; and her sister Shirley Plante of Francestown NH. She was also predeceased by two grandchildren Kevin and Michael Ryan.

Vera was born in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late Ward Richards and Madeline (Wise) Richards.  She spent the most of her life living in Natick, MA.  Vera was a homemaker.  Spending quality time with her family was more important to her than anything.  Funeral Mass will be held March 10, 2018 at 1PM in St. Joseph Church,10H Putnam Rd.
