Violet M. (Nanof) Lux, age 90 of Dudley, died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge.

She was the wife of the late Teddy M. Lux.  She leaves a son, David Lux of Holden; two daughters, Nancy Lux of Webster and Stephanie Gertz of Webster; several grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Lux of Webster.

Violet was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Victor and Artemis (Van) Nanof and lived in Dudley since 2006.  She was a health care receptionist for many years.  She loved to sing and sang with the U.S.O. during World War II.
