Virginia C. (Jezierski) Kane, age 82, died at her home on Saturday, July 20, 2013.

She was the wife of the late James B. Kane, who died in 2011.  She leaves her son, with whom she made her home, Michael J. Kane of Webster; a daughter, Judith Ann Fontaine of Charlton; a brother, Leon Jezierski and his wife Pearl, of Thompson, CT; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Jezierski of Schenectady, NY.  She was predeceased by her brother, Jerome Jezierski of Schenectady, NY.

She was born in Webster, daughter of the late Joseph and Patronella (Ryba) Jezierski and lived here all her life.  She was a secretary for many years at Cranston Print Works and was a member of the Saint Anne's Society at Saint Joseph Basilica.  She enjoyed bowling and gardening.

The Funeral will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster with a Mass at 10:30 AM Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster.  Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery.  A calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 to 10 AM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Saint Joseph School, Immediate Needs Fund.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com .
