Hardwick - Vivian M. (Shepardson) Fielding, age 87, died Monday, April 25, 2016, at home. Her husband, Walter Fielding Sr. died in 1990.  She leaves three sons, Walter Fielding Jr. and his wife Carol of Hubbardston, Arthur Fielding of Wheelwright and Michael Fielding and his wife Rebecca of Orange and a brother, Andrew Shepardson of Barre; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Borelli of Barre; by two brothers, Earl Shepardson and Henry Shepardson; and by her sisters, Ethel Martin, Stella O'Donnell, Bertha Newton and Phyllis O'Donnell. She was born in Barre, daughter of the late Cecil and Stella (Grover) Shepardson and lived in the area all her life  She was a retired textile worker.  She enjoyed gardening, cats and dogs.  She was a caregiver all her life. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Barre, 30 Park Street, Barre, Saturday May 7, 2016 at 10 AM with burial in Glen Valley Cemetery, Barre.  There are no calling hours.  Private burial will be in Glen Valley Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with arrangements.  A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com for condolences.
