Warren L.
Faulkner Iii
d. Feb 15, 2026
Warren L. "Buzzy" Faulkner III July 21, 1946 – February 15, 2026
Warren L. "Buzzy" Faulkner III, age 79, of Dudley, MA, beloved husband of Anita (Saad) Faulkner, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
Lovingly called "Buzzy" by his family from a young age, he carried the nickname with him throughout his life. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Warren L. Faulkner Jr. and Eleanor (Caputo) Faulkner. He was raised in West Roxbury and graduated from St. Sebastian's Country Day School in Newton. He settled in Dudley, making it home for many years and cherishing life with his family.
Warren proudly served his country for 30 years as a member of the Air National Guard. He then devoted his professional career to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he worked at the Workforce Central Career Center, helping individuals navigate employment and career transitions.
Beyond his work and service, Warren will be remembered for his lighthearted, goofy side and his ability to make those around him smile. He was a loyal Boston Red Sox fan and had a lifelong love of chocolate – especially ice cream – and never passed up the chance to indulge his sweet tooth. True to his playful nature, he often shared his food and table scraps with the family dog, Bay, much to her delight. Above all, he was the epitome of a "girl dad". He adored his daughters, took pride in each of them, and embraced fatherhood with a full heart.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Anita, whom he married on June 4, 1994. He also leaves his three daughters: Megan Faulkner-Beauchain and her husband, Mike, of Dudley; Emily Faulkner of Orlando, FL; and Nicole Faulkner of Orlando, FL. He is further survived by two sisters, Karen Faulkner of West Roxbury and Judith Cleveland and her husband, Theodore, of Omaha, NE.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster, MA, beginning with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 12:45 p.m. A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
