William A. Belle Sr., age 77, of Westborough, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.

He leaves his wife of 52 years, Carol S. (Sardo) Belle of Westborough; a son, William A. Belle Jr. of Syracuse, NY; a daughter, Debra Simon of Upton, MA; three brothers, Ronald Belle and Richard Belle, both of Syracuse and Robert Belle of North Carolina; a sister, Emily Belle of Syracuse; one granddaughter, Emma Simon.

William was born in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Emil and Isolene (Petrilla) Belle and lived in Syracuse for over 50 years and in Westborough for the past 2 years.  He owned and operated Belle Home Foods in Syracuse.  He was a member of the Syracuse Gun Club and was an avid golfer.
