Webster- Adam A. Ozaniak age 88 passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023 with his loving family at his side at the Rose Monahan Hospice House, Worcester. He was the husband of the late Therese (Terrie) (Langlois) Ozaniak who died Nov. 27, 2019.
He leaves his daughter Karolyn and her husband Keith Champagne of Douglas, grandchildren Natalie and William and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Anna Yurkevicius of Webster, brothers Stephen P. Ozaniak of Webster and John A. Ozaniak of Wilsonville, CT.
Adam worked for over 50 years as a meat cutter for Shaw’s Supermarket, Sturbridge. He and his wife were very active on committees at St. Anthony of Padua Church Dudley. They also were founders of the Deus Caritas Society at the Church. Adam had a strong love for his family and church and was dedicated to the Holy Rosary. His family was one of the original Slovak families at the formation of the St. Anthony of Padua Church. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Nipmuc Coin Club and enjoyed the stock market.
There are no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 in St. Anthony of Padua Church Dudley, at 10:30 AM, burial to follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Omit flowers and donations may be made in his memory to Deus Caritas c/o of St. Anthony's Church, Dudley ,MA 01571. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster is directing arrangements.
