Alannah Maureen (Titchen) Turski, of Dayville, CT, passed away late Wednesday night, August 31, 2022 at the age of 70.
Born August 25, 1952 in Willimantic to the late John and Marguerite (Callahan) Titchen. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Turski and leaves behind her two daughters Kimberly Caron and Kerri Turski along with Kim’s Husband Robert and two granddaughters Kyleigh and Cassie Caron of Brooklyn Connecticut. Alannah is survived by one sister Sharon Desilets of MA and her beloved childhood friend Donna Drake of Conway, SC.
A strong-minded woman with strong values, Alannah prided herself in raising her family. She had a meticulous eye for home decorating which she used in the many houses she made a home. Alannah had a green thumb and could always revive a plant or flower. She was also an avid slot player at the local casinos. Alannah always had advice for any situation, which will always be remembered and cherished.
As the matriarch in the family, she will be greatly missed by the women in her life that she passed her strength to and taught to be independent, including her little cat Maggie!
She is predeceased by her husband Ronald Turski, Brother Kenneth Titichen, and son Jason Gomes.
Services will be private. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA is directing arrangements.
