Alice May Gilman
1930 - 2025
Webster – Alice M. (MacGinnis) Gilman, 95, of Thompson Rd., died Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Umass Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Irene (Hewitt) MacGinnis.
Mrs. Gilman worked for a short time as a seamstress but, for most of her life she was a homemaker.
Alice was a member of High Pointe Church in Thompson, and she enjoyed doing crafts.
She is survived by her children, David Gilman of New London, CT, Cheryl Dumont and her husband David of Dudley, Karen Green and her husband Robert of Webster, and Kathy Chenevert of Webster, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Robert “Bobby” Gilman, great granddaughter Kaylen Gilman, and her siblings, Eileen, Christine, and John
