Amber Stover Obituary

Brooklyn, CT – Amber Stover, age 62, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at home after a long illness.

Amber was born in Ellsworth, Maine, daughter of the late Roger and Sharon (Crawford) Stover and lived in North Grosvenordale before moving to Brooklyn 38 years ago.  She worked for several years as an Assistant Manager at Ames Department Store until its closing, she then worked at Day Kimball Hospital in the scheduling department.

Amber had an amazing sense of humor.  She was well liked and well loved.  Amber loved watching the Hallmark Channel, especially the Christmas movies as Christmas was her favorite holiday and time of the year.  Additionally, she enjoyed watching game shows, bargain shopping and line dancing.  She loved long-haired calico cats, including her cat, the late “Miss Thing”.

Amber is survived by her son, Travis Beaulieu of Brooklyn, CT; two sisters, Stephanie Birch of Florida and Audra Curtis of Brooklyn; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, Clifford Beaulieu of North Grosvenordale in 1986 and by a sister, Sabrina Curtis of Brooklyn in 2012.

A Celebration of Amber’s life will be held at a later date.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Amber’s memory be sent to her son Travis Beaulieu, 320 Christian Hill Road, Brooklyn, CT 06234 to assist with final expenses.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA is honored to assist with Amber’s arrangements.  A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you can post a message of condolence, share a memory and/or light a candle in Amber’s memory.
