1928 – 2026

Webster - Ana J. (Restrepo) De Arango, age 97, beloved wife of the late Francisco L. Arango, died Friday, January 2, 2026 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Ana was born in Belmira, Colombia, daughter of the late Rafael Restrepo and Matilde Restrepo.  She lived in Colombia prior to moving to Webster.  She was a homemaker.

Ana was a religious woman and would pray often.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.  She was a communicant of Saint Louis Church.

She leaves her sons, Marco Arango of Frostproof, FL, Himerio Arango of Sarasota, FL, Hector Arango of Webster, Francisco Arango of Dudley and Diago Arango of Boston; her daughters, Bilma Arango of Webster (with whom she lived), Lourdes Arango of Charlton, Dora Arango of Colombia, Omaira Roa of Worcester, and Maria Arango of Webster; her brothers, Ocaris Restrepo of Colombia, Dario Restrepo of Colombia, Saul Restrepo of Colombia; her sisters, Julia Restrepo and Berta Restrepo, both of Colombia; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all of which she loved so dearly.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Pascual Restrepo and Rodrigo Restrepo, and by her sisters, Fanny Restrepo and Marta Restrepo.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial for Ana on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 12 Noon in Saint Louis Church, Lake Street, Webster.  Burial will be in Colombia.  Please meet directly at the church.  There are no calling hours.  A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster is honored to assist with Ana’s arrangements.
