Anne D. Couture

Spencer- Anne D. (Johnson) Couture age 75 passed away Wednesday, July 17.2024 at the University of MA Healthcare Center Hospital, Worcester.  She was the wife of the late Ronald Couture who passed away in 2008.

She leaves a son Matthew Couture of Spencer, a daughter Alisha Smith and her husband Kevin of North Brookfield, three grandchildren, Brant, Logan and Rachel.  She also leaves two brothers, Jerry Johnson of Idaho and Russell Johnson of Worcester.  She had a brother and a sister that predeceased her, Ray Johnson of MA and Elaine Merrell of CT.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Durrell H. Johnson and Arline (Stevens) Johnson and lived in Spencer most of her life.  Anne was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and Archie, her dog.

There are no calling hours.  Please omit flowers and donations may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Rd., East Brookfield, MA 01515.  Private graveside services will be held July 23, 2024, in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA have been entrusted with her arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
