1942 – 2025
Webster - Barbara E. (Kozlowski) D’Alessandro, age 83, beloved wife of James “Jim” P. D’Alessandro, died Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the comfort of her home that she so loved.
Barbara was born in Webster, MA, daughter of the late Bernard and Anna (Vajcovec) Kozlowski and lived in Webster. Throughout her life, she was a devoted homemaker who took immense pride in her home and loved nothing more than gathering her family around the table. She found her greatest joy in hosting, cooking, and creating a warm, welcoming space where everyone felt loved and cared for. She loved spending time on Webster Lake, especially waterskiing and doing water sports with her grandchildren. Barbara and Jim enjoyed spending time in Wellfleet, MA, and in Boynton Beach, FL.
Barbara leaves her husband of 63 years, James “Jim” P. D’Alessandro of Webster; a son, David D’Alessandro and his companion Tamara Kruzel of Webster; a daughter, Gina and her husband Joseph Kreidler Jr. of Webster; a sister, Ann and her husband Jay Marchant of Rhode Island; six grandchildren, Lauren and her husband Steven Germain, Nicole D’Alessandro, Emily Kreidler, Kyle and his wife Alyssa Kreidler, Julianna D'Alessandro and Emilia Kreidler; three great-grandchildren, Lydia Kreidler, Nora Kreidler and Hadley Germain; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by a sister, Caryl Breen of Webster.
Family and friends are invited visit with Barbara’s family on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Saint Louis Church, Lake Street, Webster. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Black Tavern Historical Society, 138 Center Road, Dudley, MA 01571. A memorial guestbook is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
