Webster- Bernard “Bernie” Weiss, age 82 passed away with his family at his side, Friday, July 22, 2022 at his home. He was predeceased by his ex-wife- Barbara Weiss in 2014 and his son James Weiss 2020. He also leaves his son Ronald Weiss of Webster, daughter in-law Tammy Weiss of Thompson CT, three grandchildren Tyler, Jennifer and Samantha, three great grandchildren, Hannah, Nathan and Ava.
He was born in Webster, son of the late Bernard L. Weiss and Josephine (Gontowski) Weiss, He resided in Webster for the past forty years, prior to living in Wilsonville, CT. He was a retired General Motors Auto worker and a member of the Local 422 auto workers union. His favorite pastime was watching the Boston Red Soxs and the New England Patriots.
There are no calling hours, all services and burial in St. Joseph Garden of Peace will be private. Please omit flowers and donations can be made in his memory to the American Lung Association.
