Thompson, CT – Bernard L. “Benny” Walkowiak Jr., 70, passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2022.
Benny was born in Webster, MA on November 23, 1951, son of the late Bernard L. Walkowiak Sr. and Barbara (Johnson) Walkowiak.
Benny worked as a self-employed carpenter, was a member of Thompson Rod & Gun, and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching NASCAR, hunting and fishing; mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Bernard is survived by his wife Debra A. (Pedersen) Walkowiak, his daughters Mandy and Megan Walkowiak; his sister Elaine Haas; his aunt Pamela Hartland; He leaves behind two grandchildren, Kodie Walkowiak and Aubrie Richard; his dog Khaos (Bone Head); his in laws, who he was close to, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; he is predeceased by his late brothers James and Dennis Walkowiak, and his sister Debbie.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society.
