Webster - Ms. Beverly Evans, age 80, died on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Webster.
Beverly graduated from Bartlett High School and Boston University. She worked as Registered Nurse for the VA, in Boston and Miami, until an automobile accident changed the course of her life and brought her back to Webster.
Beverly was predeceased by her parents Blanche (Pratt) and William Evans. She is survived by Goddaughter and caregiver Lisa Grzyb.
Prior to her accident Beverly was an avid water skier. She was a member of the Nipmuc Water Ski Club, the American Water Ski Association, the Jantzen Water Safety Club and was a member of 1963 Easter Regional Champion Team and the 1964 National Water Ski Team.
As her life went on Beverly spent endless hours bird watching as well as doing her daily crossword puzzles by the window, looking out over the lake. To her friends and neighbors that continued to stop and say hello to her and got to see her smile, thank you. She was so deserving.
A prayer celebration for Beverly will be held in her yard overlooking the lake on Saturday, September 21 at 1:00 pm. Burial in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster will be private.
Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, has been entrusted with Beverly's arrangements. A memorial guestbook is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you post a condolence message, share a memory and/or light a candle in her memory.
