Blanche M. (Menard) Czernicki

Putnam – Blanche M. (Menard) Czernicki, age 96, formerly of Webster and Kingston, TN, died on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Davis Place in Danielson, CT.

She was born on September 6, 1927, daughter of the late Ephrem and Letitia (Roberts) Menard and lived in Putnam for the past 15 years, previously living in Webster, MA and Kingston, TN. 

Her husband, Walter Czernicki died in 1997.  She leaves a son, Robert Flanders of Florida; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.  Blanche was predeceased by a son, Lee Flanders of Boston; by a daughter, Marilyn Bird of Tennessee; by her brothers, Omer Menard, William Menard and Gene Menard, all of North Grosvenordale, Ernie Menard of Attawaugan and Robert Menard of Thompson; by her sisters, Aurora Barthelet of Jewett City, Elaine Moran of North Grosvenordale and Dora Grochowski of Webster. 

Blanche was a retired cosmetics clerk, having worked several years for Wal-Mart.  She was a member of the VFW in Quinebaug.
