Obituary

Dudley – Brian D. Kopas, 62, suddenly passed away on Thursday January 23, 2020; He is survived by his nephew David Kopas and his wife Monique and a  grandniece Ariel Kopas, as well as many cousins, relatives and dear friends; he was predeceased by his brother Russell Kopas. He also leaves his beloved cats “Pretty” and “Trouble”.

Brian was born in Webster on October 28, 1957, son of the late Charles F. and Barbara (Korch) Kopas; he graduated from Bartlett High School and worked at Cranston Printworks for many years.  Brian was a car enthusiast who, in his younger years, was especially known for his sports cars; he was a kind and gentle soul befriending many people in Dudley and Webster while out running his daily errands. Whether he was venturing out to buy his scratch tickets or simply roaming around town, Brian was always quick to strike up conversations with those he’d meet while he was out and about. Brian also enjoyed going to the casino and playing his favorite slot machines; he was always so jovial, loving  life,  and all who were a part of his.  Brian will be deeply missed by his cousins and by all who were blessed to know him.
