Carl V. Danielson, 78, passed away Thursday June 2, 2022, while at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. Carl was born in Putnam, CT and spent his later years in Thompson. Carl was a proud American and made it known to everyone around him. He had a love for his beautiful German Shepard, Gretta. He took pride in his house, yard, and pool for many years. Carl spent countless hours in his yard to ensure that it was the best in the neighborhood. He had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson and being outdoors. Carl had a love for NASCAR and in his later years enjoyed watching his grandson race. Carl was a hardworking man and was employed at Precision Auto Rebuilders of Dudley, MA until he passed away. Anyone that knew Carl knew that he was one of a kind and will miss hearing “Hey Bub” from a mile away.
Carl was predeceased by his parents Gilbert Danielson and Beatrice (Shaw) Danielson, his wife, Ruth E. Danielson, and his son Carl “Butch” Danielson. Carl will be deeply missed by his children, James Danielson of Boston MA, Edward Danielson and his wife Darlene Danielson, Holly Mead (Danielson) and her husband Dickie Mead all of Thompson CT. Carl also leaves behind his grandchildren, Zachary Mead and his significant other Nicole Fitzgerald of Putnam CT, Morgan Mead of Thompson CT, Lauren Danielson of Thompson CT, Halie Danielson, Logan Danielson, Kayla Alimandi, his great grandchildren Madison, Ally, Amelia, Samuel, Dustin, and soon to be Eleanor. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
