Worcester – Carmen Rosado, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home on Saturday February 3, 2024.
She was a loving mother, sister and friend. Above all, Carmen's most treasured role was being a grandmother; She found joy in being part of her grandchildren's lives, whether that was watching them excel at school, sports, or simply being in their presence. Some of Carmen's favorite pastimes include family traditions; Also, she loved attending church and helping others. Carmen was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on July 1, 1947 daughter of the late Santiago Velasquez and Maria Torres; She leaves her two sons Julio Rivera and his wife Minely & Luis Rivera; she also leaves six grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday February 9, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Avenue Worcester, MA under the direction of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home. Committal Services will follow in Hope Cemetery.
