1942 - 2025
Webster – Carol A. (Brousseau) Williams, 82, Formerly of Park St., died Saturday morning, July 26, 2025, at Webster Manor surrounded by her loving family.. She was the loving wife of the late William B. Carroll, Jr who died in 1996 and Raymond G. Williams who died in 2019. Born in Webster, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Tetreault) Gucwa.
She was predeceased by her estranged father Herbert Lawrence Brousseau, and great granddaughter Elizabeth Brown.
Mrs. Williams worked for B&W Shoe and Bates Shoe after which she worked 20 plus years as a school bus driver for AA Transportation in Webster for the Webster School System.
She was a former member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 184 in Webster to which she held every office numerous times thru the years.
She enjoyed going to the Mohegan Sun Casino to play the slot machines, going to flea markets, and dining at multiple area buffets. But, above all she cherished the quality time that she spent with her family and her cat.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Roxanne E. Kiely and her husband Daniel of Southbridge; Her sister, Linda Hoak and her husband Dennis of Nokamis, FL; her grandchildren, Philip Jarmolowicz of Quinebaug, CT, Jared Jarmolowicz of Whitensville, MA, and Branden Brown of Conway, SC; her great grandchildren, Ryanne Rideout and Ford Jarmolowicz both of Quinebaug, and Coltyn, Elijah, and Olivia Brown all of Conway, SC; and her great great granddaughter, Eleanor Phelps of Quinebaug.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service for Carol on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00AM in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Worcester Rd., Webster, MA. Memorial donations in Carol’s name may be made to Community Cat Connection, 289 Thompson Rd., Webster, MA 01570 or Second Chance Animal Service P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
