1948 - 2025 

Worcester - Charles D. Edmonds, Jr., 77, died Sunday, August 3, 2025. He was the loving husband of Katherine “Rose” (Simpson) Edmonds for 58 Years. Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of the late Charles D. Edmonds Sr. and the late Beatrice (Morris) Edmonds. 

Charles was a professional driver for WRTA, City of Worcester Schools and the US Post Office. If he was not at home enjoying music and western movies, he could be found either at a bingo hall or walking around a flea market with his wife Rose. Charles also enjoyed taking road trips, and throughout his travels he visited 36 states. His favorite places to visit were North and South Dakota enjoying the primitive feel of the land and community around him. 

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his children, Charles Edmonds, III and his wife Marcie of Southbridge, MA, Katherine Edmonds-Ossai of Worcester, MA, and Elizabeth Edmonds of Worcester, MA; his brothers Daniel Edmonds and his wife Donna of Rhode Island, and Paul Edmonds and his wife Cindy of Worcester; 14 Grandchildren, and 8 Great-Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings Kathy Edmonds and Joseph Edmonds.
