Charles J. Moninski Sr., 71, died peacefully following a long illness on Sunday, June 7th, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Charlie was born March 9, 1944 in Dudley, Mass. to Antoni and Frances (Krupinski) Moninski. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1962, and married Annabelle (LaPlante) Moninski on January 21, 1972. In 1986, Charlie moved with his family from Dudley to Harmony, Maine. He worked for years as a millwright, and was known by his colleagues for his tireless work ethic and physical stamina. Charlie was an avid farmer, and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, sightseeing, and exploring the outdoors with his beagle, Prince.
Charlie is survived by his wife Annabelle and their children Jessica Moninski, Charles Moninski Jr., and Beth Moninski, his brother Anthony Moninski, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie's memory to the Patriarchs Club, 177 Chadbourne Rd., Harmony, ME 04942.
