Damian E. Montanez

Worcester - Damian Emilio Montanez, age 42, died due to Chronic Depression on Friday April 22, 2022.

Damian was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on July 29, 1979, son to Virgen Montanez and Fidel Montanez.

He is survived by his mother Virgen Montanez, three sisters Virginia, Frances, and Melissa;  his brother Andres; his son DeMarion Montanez,  as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, especially Carmen Montanez “Chiqui” his favorite and closest aunt.

Damian was predeceased by his father Fidel Montanez and his older sister Shaghily Montanez.

Damian was loved by many people in Worcester. Prior to his depression he was outgoing, funny, and very hard working. He always enjoyed helping others and doing carpentry and plumbing work.  Damian loved to play jokes on his family, especially his nieces and nephews.  In 2010 Damian was involved with UFC fighting.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday May 2, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the Lindquist-Lundin Funeral Home under the direction of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 36 Butler Street Worcester, MA.
